This program immerses students in the colonial adventures of Sara Phillips and James Hiller, two fictional print shop apprentices, as they get swept up in the history of the American Revolution. Students take a journalistic exploration of 7 historical events, each leading them on a different replayable quest as they pursue the latest scoop for the front page of the Pennsylvania Gazette daily newspaper. On their journeys they will explore compelling locations, collecting interesting items and interviewing fascinating historical figures like George Washington, Abigail Adams and Thomas Jefferson. In addition to teaching important details of American history, this program develops basic reading, writing and critical thinking skills. Works with Win98/2000/XP/Mac Classic/OSX.
